Without the Friends of the West River Trail and their support, the West River Trail Run would not be possible. Please take a moment to visit their website westrivertrail.org to learn more about the trail, about the organization and ways to help. The West River Trail Run will be accepting donations for the Friends of the West River Trail at registration.

West River Trail Run Description
The West River Trail Run starts in South Londonderry at the Depot and follows the West River to Jamaica State Park. It's 11-ish miles of amazing trail that begins on a rail trail and weaves through a campground before entering a near 4 mile stretch of hilly wooded area/singletrack that includes crossing a waterfall! The trail then continues onto the Ball Mountain Dam spillway before climbing up and over the dam. The trail continues until it meets the rail trail again in Jamaica State Park. From there it is a flat, fast run to the finish! Run the entire 11-ish miles solo or grab two more friends and run as a three-person relay! There is also a 5k Fun Run option located within Jamaica State Park on the rail trail.
